The show opened earlier this month on February 11 in Singapore. This year’s show saw numerous aircraft orders, totaling $32 billion.
The 2013 Dubai Airshow ended November 21 at their new venue, the Dubai World Central’s (DWC)’s Al Maktoum International Airport.
Nearly $200 billion in aircraft orders were announced during the show, including orders for Airbus, Boeing and Bombardier.
Boeing also launched their 777X program at the show with a large 1/20 scale PacMin model, complete with working wingtip parts and exterior lighting.
PacMin models also made appearances during announcements for Etihad, Côte d’Ivoire and many others.

On opening day of the 2013 Dubai Airshow, Boeing officially launched their 777X program. Their announcement came with record-breaking orders from Etihad, Qatar, Emirates and previously announced customer Lufthansa.
