PacMin aviation models commemorated numerous announcements at the 2017 Dubai Airshow. Models ranging in complexity and size, from 10 inches (25.4 cm) to over 7 feet (2.1 m) in length, could be seen at press events and throughout the show floor.  (more…)

On May 9, Qantas announced plans to develop a new international lounge at Perth Airport and add nonstop service from Perth to London beginning March 2018. A custom 1/50 scale Boeing 787-9 exhibit model in Qantas colors was there to commemorate the event. The aircraft model measures over 4 feet (1.3m) long with a 4 foot (1.2m) wingspan. (more…)

PacMin-produced exhibit models in Star Wars inspired livery return to Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida. The aviation models were on display at ANA’s booth and featured paint schemes inspired by popular droids from the franchise including a R2-D2 (787-9), a C-3PO (777-200), and a BB-8 (777-300ER). The wait is finally over. The latest cinema installment in the Star Wars anthology, STAR WARS: The Force Awakens opened for wide release on December 14. All Nippon Airways (ANA) brought their BB-8 ANA JET to the red carpet premiere to celebrate. (more…)
