Pacmin Studios x The Arnold & Winnie Palmer Foundation: Part Two
In case you missed our last post, Pacmin Studios recently worked with The Arnold & Winnie Palmer Foundation to create custom 1:30 scale reproductions of nine of Mr. Palmer’s aircraft.
The Orlando-based Foundation (palmerfoundation.org) supports efforts to improve children’s health, youth character development and nature-focused wellness—all part of its overall mission to continue the Palmers’ philanthropic legacy and to extend Mr. Palmer’s legacy specifically.
Our first entry showcased the Cessna 172 in which Mr. Palmer learned to fly as well as his Aero Commander 560F, Rockwell Jet Commander, and Learjet 24.
In this post, we will highlight the remainder of the collection: the five different Cessna Citation jets that the legendary golfer owned over the course of his flight career.
Using a combination of historical photographs, similar aircraft models, and previous miniatures, our team designed and created each model to be as accurate as possible. The models will be displayed outside of Mr. Palmer’s historic office in Bay Hill, Florida, which remains much as he left it, inspiring visitors with its collection of trophies and memorabilia—including a lot of memorabilia related to flight.

Cessna Citation I
Mr. Palmer was reportedly quite happy with the performance of his previous Learjet, but after his close friend Russ Meyer joined Cessna, Mr. Palmer found himself falling in love with the company’s Citation line of business jets.
Cessna Citation II
With very little to go off of in terms of original photographs of Mr. Palmer’s Citation II, the Pacmin team actually turned to previously made miniatures of the plane to help create this model.
Cessna Citation III
This time, there were no photos of the original Citation III to work from. As a result our team looked once again to previously made miniatures to recreate the livery design.
Cessna Citation VII
The Pacmin team worked with several photos from of the Foundation’s archives to re-create this model.
Cessna Citation X
The Citation X was the final addition to Mr. Palmer’s fleet and, due to his friendship with Russ Meyer and Cessna, he received the very first one ever produced, taking delivery in 1996. In 2002 he replaced it with another [upgraded] Citation X, and this is the one on which we based our model’s livery.
