Commercial supersonic air travel… the aviation industry’s holy grail.
Discovered for a brief stretch of time in the form of the Concorde and then lost once again, the aviation industry has been working for decades to find a way to make regular supersonic flight a reality.
It’s an especially exciting time for the Supersonic journey with recent feats like Boom’s first successful “boomless” flight of the XB-1 and NASA’s initial test run of the X-59 QueSST engine making the possibility of sustainable supersonic travel all that more realistic.
