The Amelia Earhart Hangar Museum, located at the Amelia Earhart Memorial Airport (K59) in Atchison, Kansas, opened on April 14, 2023. Since its opening, the museum has been featured in such publications as Smithsonian Magazine, BBC, and NPR and has received a GEMmy Award (“gems of travel”) and nominations for top new museum and USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice Award.

The museum has fourteen interactive exhibits that celebrate the adventurous life of Amelia Earhart.

The central exhibit of the museum is the world’s last remaining Lockheed Electra 10-E aircraft, painted to resemble Muriel, the aircraft Amelia flew on her fateful round-the-world flight.

Some of the other exhibits include a full-scale replica of Muriel’s cockpit, an exhibit titled “Feminine Feats”–which features stories of other trailblazing women in aviation, and an interactive virtual reality recreation of Amelia’s historic 1932 transatlantic flight.

Pacmin Studios was proud to collaborate with Dimensional Innovations to supply the museum with models of Amelia’s Lockheed Electra 10-E “Muriel,” Lockheed Vega 5B, Pitcairn PCA-2 “Beech-Nut,” and Kinner Airster “The Canary.”
