Pacmin UAV models on display at AUVSI XPO
PacMin produced a variety of full-size and large scale drone models for AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2019. The models ranged in size from under 2’ to over 7’ in length and were on display at the Boeing booth.
To maximize the use of space, the models were positioned throughout the booth and ceiling.

Two full size Insitu UAV models were suspended above the booth. This included a 1/1 scale ScanEagle II and ScanEagle III. Their broad 10’ (3.05 m) wingspan and vibrant white and orange markings were easily seen by show attendees. Once in the booth, a full size Integrator BLOS (16’ / 4.8m wingspan) greeted visitors.
Other UAV models on display included a 1/4 scale Aurora PAV (7’ wingspan), and a 1/30 scale Aurora Odysseus (8’ wingspan). Both were equipped with an interchangeable floor stand/hanging points for more display options after the show.
Large scale models are a tried and true method for attracting attendees in a crowded tradeshow environment. Their physical presence is hard to miss.
Models are powerful sales tools on their own, or they can be used in conjunction with digital content for an even richer story.
AUVSI XPONENTIAL is focused on unmanned and autonomous systems from over 20 industries. The 2019 edition was hosted at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois from April 29 to May 2. Next year’s show will be held in Boston, Massachusetts from May 4 – 7.
