Pacmin Makes a Splash in Third Year at EXHIBITORLIVE Trade Show

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Pacmin returns from its third year exhibiting at EXHIBITORLIVE. The Fullerton-based aviation marketing company joins over 300 exhibitors and trade show professionals at the 29th edition of EXHIBITORLIVE. The event attracts over 6,000 attendees each year.

The 2018 EXHIBITORLIVE introduced a new floor plan which created more open spaces for conversations and greater visibility for exhibitors. Interactive experiences such as AR (augmented reality), VR (virtual reality), LED walls, and live performances remained popular trends.

Throughout the show, Pacmin displayed their model-making and custom trade show fabrication capabilities and CGI marketing.

A 1/20 scale Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) 787-9 cutaway was a crowd pleaser, appealing to both non-industry professionals and aviation industry veterans. The 10-foot long (3.14 m) custom cutaway has been on the tradeshow circuit for a decade. It was the first model to feature working screens in miniature.

Modern Pacmin cutaways and trade show models offer a wide range of technical features such as dimmable lights, chrome accents, and mobile app interconnectivity.

Attendees were also treated to an augmented reality (AR) demonstration. The display utilized 3D projection technology, hyper-realistic CGI, and a 7-foot (2.13 m) engine model in order to create the special effects. The demonstration takes viewers “through the ages” with three engine concepts: a “Stone Age” engine, a modern jet engine, and a futuristic laser-powered engine.

Pacmin will return to EXHIBITORLIVE  2019 which will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada from February 25 to 27.
