Pacmin aviation models commemorate extraordinary orders at 2017 Dubai Airshow
Pacmin aviation models commemorated numerous announcements at the 2017 Dubai Airshow. Models ranging in complexity and size, from 10 inches (25.4 cm) to over 7 feet (2.1 m) in length, could be seen at press events and throughout the show floor.
Each scale model is produced exact to customer specifications. Their highly custom features make them an excellent gift to commemorate both new and continuing partnerships.
Desktop models were present at several deal signings including a letter of intent signed by Egypt Air for Bombardier CSeries aircraft, orders for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner by Azerbaijan and Emirates, and an additional Boeing 737 MAX order from lessor ALAFCO.
Update 7/23/18: The Bombardier CSeries aircraft is now the Airbus A220.
FlyDubai also inked a historic agreement with Boeing for 225 737 MAX aircraft. A custom Pacmin model in the airline’s livery was there to celebrate. The agreement is the largest single-aisle jet order announced by a Middle East carrier, both in the number of aircraft and the total value.
In total, nearly $113.8 billion (USD) in orders were announced at t the three-day show.
Exhibit models were also prominently displayed at exhibitor booths including Boeing and Boom.
The biannual show opened on November 12 and attracted over 79,000 guests this year which was a 20% growth over the previous show in 2015. The Dubai Airshow will return in 2019 to the Dubai World Central. It is expected to draw even larger crowds.
