PacMin Aviation Models Delight Crowds at EBACE

Reading Time: 3 minutes

EBACE 2017 opened on May 22 and dozens of PacMin desktop and exhibit models were on display on the exhibition floor. The custom scale models served as conversation starters and attracted large crowds at numerous booths including Aerion, Airbus Corporate Jets, Boeing Business Jets, HondaJet, and Gulfstream.

PacMin aviation models command attention and are an invaluable marketing and communications tool. Depending on the aircraft type, the models range in size from under 6 inches (16 cm) to over 12 feet long (3.8 m).

For gifts and deal commemoratives, desktop models are ideal. When creating customer engagement and drawing attention is the goal, large scale mock-ups and custom exhibit models are a better fit. Their complexity also varies, from static displays to cutaway models with fully lit interiors and interactive options.

Model highlights included Airbus Corporate Jets announcing the addition of the ACJ330neo to their private jet lineup with a fleet of exhibit models. PacMin produced a 1/20 scale ACJ330neo for the event. The Airbus model stretches over 10’ (3.2m) long and has a 9.8’ (3m) wingspan.

Boeing Business Jets also delighted guests with the global debut of a 1/12 scale 737 MAX 7 BBJ cutaway. The custom scale model is 9.2 feet (2.8m) long with a 9.8 feet (3m) wingspan.
