PacMin Full Scale UAV Models Return to XPONENTIAL 2017

Reading Time: 2 minutes

PacMin custom unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) models returned to the 2017 XPONENTIAL Show, making appearances at the Boeing and Insitu booth as well as MartinUAV.

Because of the more tactical size of drones, there were many large and full scale models on display. A full scale Scan Eagle is 5’ (1.5m) in length. In comparison, many 1/40 scale commercial aviation models measure over 5’ long.

At Boeing and Insitu’s booth, two 1/1 scale UAV exhibit models were suspended above their booth. The hanging display attracts passersby’s attention and cuts through the noise of neighboring exhibitors.

PacMin’s hanging models are specifically engineered to be lightweight yet durable. After the event, the model can be converted to a floor standing display or reused and installed in a corporate lobby to add visual interest.

XPONENTIAL is produced by the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) and was previously known as Unmanned Systems.

The four day show took place in Dallas, Texas from May 8th to May 11th. In addition to the exhibition area, featuring 680 companies from 20 different industries, the show also offers over 200 educational sessions about the state of the UAV industry.

Next year’s show will be in Denver, Colorado from April 30 to May3. Visit the XPONENTIAL website for more information about the show.
