ANA Star Wars Jets Returns to Star Wars Celebration
PacMin-produced exhibit models in Star Wars inspired livery return to Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida. The aviation models were on display at ANA’s booth and featured paint schemes inspired by popular droids from the franchise including a R2-D2 (787-9), a C-3PO (777-200), and a BB-8 (777-300ER). Each of the jets was also autographed by the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
In partnership with Lucas Films, All Nippon Airways (ANA) currently operates the themed aircraft on both international and domestic Japan flights. Attendees could also watch videos to learn more about each themed Star Wars Jet experience.
The annual Star Wars Celebration travels to different cities across the globe each year. The four day convention attracted over 70,000 attendees and included a special tribute to Carrie Fisher, who portrayed Princess Leia and General Organa in the Star Wars films, as well as special guest appearances by the cast and creative team behind the films and expanded universe.
