Reading Time: 2 minutes

On November 3, the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA)’s annual Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) drew to a close after three days of industry news and education sessions. The first two opening days also featured moving tributes to industry legends Arnold Palmer and Bob Hoover. To honor their passing, the 2016 NBAA-BACE was dedicated to their memory.

In addition to strong attendance, the NBAA reported a sold-out static display area, featuring 114 aircraft. On the floor, PacMin exhibit models and custom cutaway models could be seen at numerous booths.

Popular displays including Gulfstream’s fleet of flying business jet models, a 1/3 scale HondaJet with interactive display, and Greenpoint’s intricate 1/20 scale Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) 787-9 cutaway model featuring its luxurious Azure interior returned to this year’s show. A 1/20 scale Aerion AS2 supersonic jet model and a 1/6 scale cabin section cutaway were also on display at Aerion’s booth.

The 2016 edition of NBAA-BACE took place in Orlando, Florida from November 1 to November 3. The 2017 show will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from October 10 through 12.
