1/20 scale Cathay Dragon A330-300 PacMin exhibit model on display at the entrance hall of the Dragon House at the Hong Kong International Airport

Dragonair rebranded as Cathay Dragon with new livery, logo and exhibit models

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Dragonair is rebranded as Cathay Dragon to more closely align with their sister airline Cathay Pacific. The change includes a new livery and a red brushwing logo. Aside from the visual alignment, both airlines will continue to operate as separate airlines.

Two large exhibit models in the new rebranded Cathay Dragon paint scheme were at the unveiling event. The new livery retains Dragonair’s bold red colors and dragon emblem.

A 1/20 scale Cathay Dragon Airbus A330-300 PacMin exhibit model is currently on display at Dragon House at the Hong Kong International Airport. A smaller 1/50 scale sister model is also on display at Cathay City.

The new livery will appear first on an Airbus A330-300 and will gradually roll out to the rest of Cathay Dragon’s fleet.
