PacMin is proud to sponsor local pilot Chris LeFave as he returns to compete in the 2015 Reno Air Races.

Chris LeFave will pilot the #94 “Midnight Express”, a stock U.S. Navy T-6 aircraft. This will be his second appearance at the races. Last year, LeFave earned the “Rookie of the Year” distinction and is eager to top his performance.

PacMin is excited to join other businesses in sponsoring LeFave.

The 52nd Reno Air Races will begin on September 16. Also known as the National Championship Air Races, the Reno Air Races are one of the last competitions of its kind and has been hailed as the “world’s fastest motor sport”.

The weeklong event is held at Reno Stead Airport in Nevada each year. Seven distinct aircraft classes, including both “stock” and modified aircraft, compete in the races. Spectators can also see a variety of military aircraft up close and personal in the static display area. In between events, spectators are treated to aerial performances and military demonstrations.
