Reading Time: 2 minutes

Following the excitement of the Boeing 787-9 R2-D2 Jet announced in April, All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced two more themed aircraft to join their Star Wars Project.

At a special event in Tokyo, the airline delighted guests with 1/20 scale PacMin exhibit models of all three Star Wars jets. One of the new themed liveries will appear on a Boeing 777-300ER and will feature BB-8, a character to be introduced in the upcoming Star Wars films. The second themed aircraft will be a Boeing 767-300 and will feature both the R2-D2 and BB-8 droids.

ANA plans to operate the R2-D2 Jet and the BB-8 Jet on international routes. The “droids” jet is planned to fly domestic Japanese routes.
