Embraer also had a strong opening day with orders totaling $2.6billion. Custom desktop models in the customer’s livery were present at each signing to commemorate the deals.

The largest single order from an airliner this year came from Wizz Air with 110 aircraft on the final day of the Paris Air Show. Next year, the Farnborough Airshow will take place July 11 to 17, 2016.
