On October 14, Gulfstream announced two new business jets – the G500 and G600. The ceremony included substantial orders from launch customers Flexjet and Qatar Airways.
Gulfstream delighted guests with the first G500 test aircraft and full-scale G600 mock-up. The G500 rolled out under its own power and is expected to begin flights in 2015. Certification for the G500 is expected in 2017 and 2018 for the G600.
The G600 mock-up as well as large-scale models of their full line of aircraft were also on display at NBAA 2014.
