Air China welcomes their first 747-8i
On September 29, Air China received their first 747-8 Intercontinental, marking over 30 years of operating the 747. Joe Sutter, chief developer of the 747, also attended the special delivery ceremony.
Air China will be the first Asian airline to operate the new 747-8i, and joins launch customer Lufthansa as the only operators of the aircraft.
