Ryanair becomes launch customer for new 737 MAX 200

Boeing announced low-cost carrier Ryanair as the launch customer for the 737 MAX 200 at a special event in New York. The announcement comes with a commitment for 100 737 MAX 200s, with options for an additional 100 aircraft.

The 737 MAX 8 variant will feature additional seats, greater fuel efficiency and lower operating costs.

Ryanair continues to operate an all-Boeing fleet and expects deliveries for the new aircraft in 2019.
