American Airlines and US Airways seal merger deal
After several months of uncertainty and roadblocks, American Airlines and US Airways finalized their merger.
The new American Airline will continue to carry the recently rebranded American image and livery. Other changes will gradually take place in the upcoming months, including US Airways joining the oneworld alliance end of March 2014.
Past, present and future American leaders and US Airways executives attended the historic event. Large scale PacMin models in both the old and new American livery provided the perfect backdrop to the event.
