TransAero Flight of Hope 5

Transaero launches new charity

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Transaero passengers are now able to help children in need by flying with the airline.

Funds raised aboard the airline’s 747 “Flights of Hope” will be donated to the Life Line Fund to help children with life-threatening heart, brain and spine diseases. The aircraft will also feature a unique multicolored “helping hands” livery.

Earlier this year, Transaero approached PacMin to produce a 1/50 scale model for their livery concept unveiling. At the event, guests were invited to leave handprints on the model to symbolize the airline and donors lending a helping hand to children in need.

The special 747 “Flights of Hope” began flights last month and over $3,000 was raised (100,000 Russian rubles) on its first flight.
