Reading Time: 2 minutes

On July 28, 2013, the Seattle Mariners celebrated Boeing 777 Day with baseball fans and 13,000 Boeing employees and their guests. Before the start of the game, the 777 team surprised audiences with a 1/50 777-300ER exhibit model in a Mariners themed livery.

The aircraft model measures nearly 5 feet (1.5m) long with a 4 foot (1.2m) wingspan and features bold stripes in the team’s colors. Silhouettes of baseball players also decorate the model’s fuselage.

It was a unique and unexpected surprise.
