All things 747-8
The latest blog post by Randy Tinseth of Boeing recounts some of the festivities that took place to celebrate Lufthansa’s new route. Fans of the 747-8 can also design their own liveries using Boeing’s Design Your Own Livery tool.
Mr. Tinseth leaves readers with a sneak peak at a 1/20 scale Pacmin 747-8i cutaway. The cutaway model features interior lights and fully functional miniature “TV” screens. It measures an impressive 12.5 feet (3.8 meters) in length with options for “stub” and full-length wings. The 747-8i model will be on display in Hong Kong starting this weekend Saturday, April 20 and may later go on a world tour.
