Air New Zealand’s Hobbit-inspired livery
Air New Zealand’s Hobbit-themed Boeing 777-300ER currently holds the record for the largest graphic ever applied to an aircraft. The graphic was made in conjunction with Weta Workshop and took six days to apply.
The livery unveiling last November captivated the public. Air New Zealand later surprised Weta Workshop with a 1/50 scale PacMin Hobbit-themed exhibit model. It measures 4.8ft / 1.5m long.
