1/3.5 HondaJet
For the 2011 NBAA show in Las Vegas PacMin Studios was commissioned to build a custom 1/3.5 scale HondaJet aircraft model. This model replaced a previous 1/3.5 representation that was produced in 2007.
The aviation model incorporates interior and exterior lighting. The navigation, landing and strobe lighting were all painstakingly reproduced from original Honda CAD data and incorporated LEDs to mimic the full size aircraft lighting intensity. The large scale replica was mounted on a computer controlled motion platform that, in conjunction with a digital LED/video backdrop, gave the impression that the model was flying.
