Turkish Airlines celebrated the launch of their Miami-Istanbul flights with a large 1/15 scale 777-300ER exhibit model and the world’s tallest sand castle.
Miami will be Turkish Airlines’ 12th destination to the Americas.
The exhibit model measures over 16 feet long (5m) with a 14 foot (4.3m) wingspan. The colorful livery covers the majority of the fuselage and features iconic landmarks and sights from Miami and Istanbul. It is currently on display at the Miami Airport in the J Greeters Lobby.
Turkish Airlines also commissioned world-renowned sand builders to create the world’s tallest sandcastle. The sandcastle measures over 45 feet tall and broke the Guinness World Record.
