PacMin Celebrates 60th Anniversary in 2006
60 years ago, Pacific Miniatures was founded by Orval Coker and Lee Meeker in the Los Angeles suburb of Alhambra, California. Both were model makers from the Douglas Aircraft Company in Santa Monica.
Over the next decades, Pacific Miniatures made scale models for nearly every major aviation and aerospace program. In the last twenty years, Pacific Miniatures shortened its corporate name to PacMin Incorporated and began offering its customers not only models but promotional and exhibit solutions for their marketing and sales programs.
Presently PacMin is a creative community of 170 individuals located in four different manufacturing and sales facilities. It continues to invest in the lastest in technology and training to remain the go-to source for marketing and business development leaders in the industry.
PacMin will be celebrating this special year by honoring its unique heritage as well as the many valued customers who have made its journey successful and exciting.
