Custom Engineering Solutions

PacMin Studio is your one-stop shop for custom engineering and design. These are just some of our capabilities. We are constantly researching and developing new techniques.

If you are ready to begin, get in touch with one of our experts.

Typically, we start with an idea or a concept for a new product. Our team explores these ideas with you. Through these in-depth conversations, we will uncover the best vehicle to communicate your message.

Once we have a strong understanding of your needs and goals, renderings and mock-ups can be developed.

Or if you already have a concept for a new product, we can move forward with prototyping and fabrication.

In the prototyping phase, our expert team creates a physical representation of your original idea or concept.

Depending on your needs, tooling can be engineered from CAD data for the full-size model or product. Or for smaller, more detailed parts, we can grow them using 3D printing and rapid prototyping like we did for General Dynamic’s Axle Award.

  • Tool engineering
  • CNC Machining
  • 3D printing (stereolithography)
  • Rapid prototyping
The 1/10 scale 5000 Series Front Axle Award was produced using advanced 3D printing technology.

Some of the key benefits of vacuum forming include quick production times, wide variety of color and ability to create large scale parts.

The nine-foot tall “Mannequin Man” on display at the 2014 American College of Rheumatology Show and the clear dome on Greenpoint’s 1/20 scale cutaway were created using vacuum forming.
