Model Customizer
PacMin, Inc. is an airplane model manufacturing company looking for an experienced model customizer to join our team. If you’re looking to grow with an organization and develop your career, this is the job for you!
Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm (Hours may vary depending on departmental needs and possible mandatory over-time)
Responsibilities:
· Review order programming and verify decal packet
· Apply decal to model using paint brush and decal adhesive
· Touch up and airbrush models as needed
· Act as quality control for paint department and graphics
· Inspect models and apply deicers to wings and tail
· Affix models to the racks and bring models into and out of paint department
· Assembly models after completion to ensure that they fit properly before shipping to the customer
· Inspect product for quality and/or color matching issues
· Communicate with other departments regarding order status and quality issues
· Maintain a clean working station
· Assist various other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
· 6 months experience in model customizing preferred but not necessary
· Minimum of high school diploma preferred
· Excellent hand, eye coordination
· Experience working in manufacturing environment
· Experience working with measuring tools
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Ability to sit for long periods of time
· Ability to distinguish between different colors and recognize quality issues
· Basic computer skills preferred
· Ability to read and write English required
· Ability to communicate effectively
· Good problem solving skills
· Must have good attention to detail
· Assist other departments as needed
